    Hi there, Janice!

Your vacation is coming right up around the corner and I'm thinking that you must be in the "too excited to sleep" mode by now!

I have to tell you, afternoon thunderstorms are pretty much a way of life in Central Florida. They happen almost every single day throughout the summer, but as long as you are prepared, fear not! Most Guests I see throw on a poncho when it starts raining, but I'm not a big fan of those as the humidity really gets to me. What I do is keep an umbrella, you know, the kind that fold up really tiny, for each person in my party. I always tuck in a plastic shopping bag to throw them all into when we go inside so the contents of my bag don't get wet and it works out as perfectly as can be.

I visited Disney's Hollywood Studios with my kids earlier this week and there was a pretty big thunderstorm that day. It rained for quite some time, but all of the fun Frozen activities still happened. Of course, that doesn't mean that it will be the same every time it rains because there are always circumstances that have to be taken into account to keep everyone, including the Characters, safe.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the thunderstorms won't be too heavy during your vacation, Janice! Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
