First trip planned for 11/12 with son,4 & daughter,3 w/dining plan. Thinking of moving up 5-6 weeks as my daughter would still be 2 & we would save quite a bit of money. Would it be a hassle for her to not have a dining plan at various types of res

    Hi Corie,

You are correct.  If you travel to Walt Disney World before your daughter turns three, you will not need a theme park ticket for her and that will represent a savings for your family.  She is also not required to participate in the Disney Dining Plan even if the rest of the guests sharing her hotel room have the Plan.  This won't be a hassle when dining throughout Walt Disney World.  She can either share the food of others in your traveling party or you may purchase her a separate kid's meal if you think she would enjoy one.  You would simply pay cash, charge the meal back to your Disney resort room account, or pay with a credit card for her meal.  Cast Members process this kind of transaction all the time so it should be no problem whatsoever.

Wishing you a truly magical November 2012 Disney vacation.  Let us know if you need any additional assistance as you make your plans.  We'd be delighted to assist you!
