Hi we are going on our first trip to Orlando at Easter 2013 with my 6 and 4 year old. We have gone for all of the parks that they have so expect to be busy. Would like advise on which park to go to first thx lisa.

Hi Lisa! As I am sure you know Easter is going to be a very busy time at Walt Disney World. But that doesn't mean you can't have a magical experience with a little planning.

Easter day at the Magic Kingdom will be very busy so I would avoid that park on Sunday. The next thing to consider is if you have Park Hopper tickets. With that simple option you can jump from park to park avoiding crowds and enjoying the Extra Magic Hours offered to resort guests before all other guests can enter or once they leave. During busy times at Disney I highly suggest this ticket option.

When you arrive you will be given a schedule of the parks in your packet. Check to see which ones will have the Extra Magic Hours each day and take advantage of them if at all possible. It might mean waking the kids up early but you will see how much you can get done in a short period of time when you use the early morning time doing attractions. The parks will also offer late Extra hours and those are just as good. Mid day in the parks is the busiest so that would be when you head back to your resort for naps and swim time.

Make sure you use the Fast Passes offered for some of the attractions. Usually the most popular ones will offer these but remember they will be gone early in the day so do this right away.

You did not give me the dates of your trip so I can't give you the schedule of the parks. But as I mentioned you can check the hours when you arrive at your resort. During busy times all parks will be crowded so you just do the best you can.  But it will be a memorable vacation for your little ones!
