Hello! First trip with kids (DD is 5 and DS is 3). Want great restaurants....already signed up for Chef Mickeys and Cinderella's Royal Table. Where else should we eat? And, are there any activities we can plan in advance that the little ones would enjoy

    Hi Chris!

Great start - you have already picked my two favorite restaurants!  Since you are visiting with your kiddos, I'm going to recommend only my "family friendly" locations.  By "family friendly," I mean those places where if one of your children throws spaghetti or has a mini-meltdown, no one will notice!

OK, so you can cross eating with Mickey and the gang and dining with the princesses off of your list.  That leaves an entire cast of crazy characters and great venues to choose from!   If your sweeties are fans of Playhouse Disney, Hollywood and Vine has a great meal with the crew from Little Einsteins and Jo Jo's Circus.  If you have had your fill of character dining, we LOVE the Rainforest Cafe and the T-Rex Cafe, both are located at Downtown Disney.  For a quick bite, my boys love eating at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.  Try and grab a coveted seat near the front of the stage - so fun!

Once their tummies are full, I bet that your little princess would love getting the royal treatment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  Not to be forgotten, your little man can get the "cool dude" package at the same time as Big Sis.  For tons more of great ideas, the WDW website has a wonderful section on planning your trip with the little ones!  Of course this is your trip too, so check out the "first-timers" section of the website as well.  Get ready to make some amazing memories!!!
