This is our first trip so I'm new to all of this. We are going to do the Disney Dining Plan, do I have to have one for each person in my party? My two little girls don't eat a whole lot so I'm concerned that there will be a lot of wasted food.

    Hi Karlee!

How exciting that this will be your first time visiting Walt Disney World!  There is so much to do and see at Walt Disney World, I'll have no doubt you'll be ready to book your second trip by the end of your first vacation.

I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan!  We use it every time we stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.  I love it for its flexibility, restaurant options, being able to take care of our dining ahead of time and of course, the food!  Walt Disney World has some amazing restaurants!

If you are planning on getting the Disney Dining Plan on your first Walt Disney World vacation, each person listed on your Resort hotel reservation must participate.  I understand that the younger kids don't eat a whole lot, but we have never found it to be a problem.  One of my "must pack" items is a handful of Ziplock bags for leftover food.  Sometimes my kids won't eat a lot while we are actually having meal time, so I'll bag up what they don't eat so they can munch on it when they are (inevitably) hungry in an hour or if they're hungry at the end of the day and we are back at our room.  Kids meals have so much variety at each restaurant, so it's hard to get bored of the same ol' chicken nuggets each time.  This is also a great way for your kids to possibly try new things!

I am so very excited for you and your family to visit Mickey Mouse!  If you have any additional questions or would like restaurant reservations, stop back by!

    Have a magical day!
