Hi Moms! First trip on the Dream in late August. Staying at Pop Century night before cruise, can you choose what time you'd like to be picked up and taken to Port Canaveral? I hear it's best to get to the dock early. Keep up the great work.

    Hi, Aisha!

Thanks for the encouragement, and you're exactly right. It is best to get to the terminal early in order to check in and have the chance to board as early as possible. The terminal at Port Canaveral usually opens at 10:30 a.m.

Yet, unfortunately, you can't choose when to be picked up by Disney Cruise Line ground transportation.  When you check in at Pop Century, they will let you know when your motorcoach will pick you up -- which will probably be sometime between 8-10 a.m.  Plus, you'll have to travel to other resorts to pick up additional guests. You actually may not leave Walt Disney World property for an hour or so after you've boarded the motorcoach.

If you would like to determine when to be picked up, you may want to consider hiring a private car or taking a taxi.  It's more expensive but can be cost effective if you have more than 4 guests. I hope that helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
