My first trip to disney world as a single parent was difficult because the ratio was 1 parent to three kids. After waiting 40 minutes I was told the cars only allow three riders. Does disney have a single parent guide?

    Hi Kimberly!

Thanks for such a great question! I am a single Dad as well, with a 16 year son. I applaud you for bringing your family to Walt Disney World because you will make so many incredible memories together as a family! While I do not know of any single parent's guide to Walt Disney World, I think that I can give you some tips and strategies for your situation. There are lots of family rides and shows in Walt Disney World that you can all enjoy as a group without having to split up. I would encourage you to major on those type of rides and attractions. If there is a ride that has a maximum of three per car, then you can go two by two an sit one child behind your other two children (if you feel comfortable with this). There is always the option of finding another single parent or extended family member to come with you to help you out as well. I'm sure that they will have a blast too! The bottom line is that I have found Walt Disney World to be the absolute best place to take your children for vacation, especially if you are a single parent! I have not heard of a book about tips for a single Mom for a Walt Disney World vacation, but that is what we Moms and Dads are here for! There are several other Single Parents on the Moms Panel so please keep asking us Moms and Dads your questions as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation for your family!

I hope that you and your family make some magical lifetime memories together on your future Walt Disney World vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
