    Dana Asked

This is our first to trip to Disney with our three boys, ages 3, 2 and 7 months. We are not staying within the resort but I want to book a character breakfast one morning and then be able to head to a park for the day. Any suggestions?

Yeah Dana! Your first trip to Walt Disney World! Your boys will love cruising with pirates, blasting Zorg alongside Buzz Lightyear, and riding in Pooh's honey pot.

My family's favorite character meal is breakfast at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Only a monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom, this restaurant offers a bountiful buffet, a meet and greet with the classic Disney Fab Five, and a fun celebratory atmosphere. Who doesn't love Mickey waffles with Mickey?

Another good choice is the Crystal Palace. Located inside the Magic Kingdom in sight of Cinderella Castle, breakfast at this spot allows you the opportunity to enjoy an attraction only minutes after your last sip of coffee. Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and friends hang at this buffet.

Other character dining experience to consider for breakfast that allow quick access to a theme park are Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood and Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
