This will be our first trip to Disney and I am overwhelmed. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 12, 7, 4 year old girls! We are travelling on a budget but wanting to experience the magic! We are looking to travel the end of May, where do I start?

    Hi Martha,

The memories you're about to create will last a lifetime. Please don't feel overwhelmed, as there are many tools available (including us!) to help you create a magical vacation.

The first step you should take is to click the following Vacation Package Guide link. Here, you can describe your ideal vacation and allow the site to generate a package for you.

    My best tips:

Stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Doing so provides you complimentary transportation aboard Disney's Magical Express to and from the airport. If driving, your parking is complimentary when staying at a Disney owned Resort Hotel. You can also take advantage of Walt Disney World Transportation throughout the property and simply leave the driving to Disney.

Arrive to the Parks early. Take advantage of Extra Magic Hours where the Parks remain open exclusive to Disney Resort Hotel guests! Crowds will continue to grow throughout the day, so your best bet at experiencing the most popular attractions is within the first couple hours of the day.

Consider only purchasing "Base" tickets as opposed to Park Hopper tickets to stretch your budget. There will be so much to see and do on your first trip, you won't need to bother with the expense of hopping.

Understand Walt Disney World is so vast, none of us are able to see and do it all in one trip. It's important to kick back and relax, too! I'd be happy to help you build an itinerary, so please write me back to let me know the number of days you're traveling.

    Happy Planning!
