First trip to Disney Jan. 28-Feb. 3. Two 5 yr. olds and one 18 mth old. Having a horrible time deciding on Resort. Considering Wilderness Lodge due to proximity to Magic Kingdom, but, wondering if you can see MK from it and if worth xtra $ over moderate

    Hi Heather,

Congratulations on your first trip to Walt Disney World vacation!  If you are looking for a resort that is very close to Magic Kingdom with great views, then I would suggest that you look into the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Polynesian Resort.  However, these resorts are pricey.

I'm not a huge fan of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, but I know Guests who rates this as their number one resort.  It is within close proximity to Magic Kingdom but the views are not like the Monorail Resorts mentioned above.  If the Wilderness Lodge is in your budget, then go for it.  The moderate resorts are nice too, but the Deluxe resorts are extra nice.  I hope this helps!

    Have a magical day!
