This is our first trip to Disney and we are so excited it's unbelievable. I have been really concerned about viewing areas for fireworks and parades. I really do not want to use a fast pass for these. HELP?

    Hi Mark,

With some pre-planning and the willingness to stand a bit longer to stake out your spot, you don't need to use your FastPass+ to reserve parade and fireworks viewing. When watching parades in the Magic Kingdom, I recommend that you line up in Frontierland across from Peco's Bill's (or that general vicinity). They will begin putting ropes up approximately a half hour prior to parade time. Simply grab a spot right up along the rope and hold your ground when crowds try to push in at the last minute. The majority of people try to watch along Main Street, so Frontierland is always an easier location to grab a spot. For Fireworks in the Magic Kingdom, you will definitely want to find a place in front of Cinderella Castle. You'll have to wait a bit longer to hold your spot, but it is worth it. In Epcot, you'll want to find a spot along the fence so that you can see the water. My favorite location is on the bridge between France and the United Kingdom. There are steps part way across the bridge that go down to a viewing area. If this location isn't reserved for a group, it is the perfect place to watch IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to send me a follow up question.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
