First timers, traveling with 4 yr old, almost 2 yr. old, and 4wk old newborn, will have 7 days for parks, and staying on site. Trying to decide if park hopper is a good option for us, or if it is better for us to just plan on one park a day?

Johanna congratulations on your first time to WDW, and what precious ages!  I must tell you that I highly recommend you go with the park hopper pass, especially with the ages of your children.  Let's say you do a full day at Magic Kingdom on day one.  Day two rolls around and you are at Animal Kingdom.  By 12:30 PM the 4 year old decides it's time to ride Dumbo again.  But wait that is back at the MK!  With a park hopper pass this is no problem at all.  Collect your stuff and go grab the next bus to MK.  I believe the park hopper pass is worth every dime for reasons just like this scenario, and I truly never plan a trip to WDW without it!  I hope this helps and that you have a magical first time at Disney World.
