first timers here and we are staying sep 22-28th. i purchased the qsmp but now i am worried about it not being enough food and am thinking about changing it to pd. besides the experience, what is the difference between the 2?

    Erin,

One hazard of the abbreviations is that I am not sure of which plan you reference here. 'PD' could mean premium dining or platinum dining. There are so many dining options it is hard to explain all the differences without knowing exactly which you want, but you can find the details here on the dining plans page. Here is a very basic rundown of plan differences:

The quick service dining plan includes two quick service meals and one snack per night, plus a refillable mug.

The standard or basic dining plan includes one quick service meal, on table service meal, and one snack per person per night, plus a refillable mug.

Deluxe dining includes three meals and two snacks per person per night, plus a refillable mug.

The premium plan includes three meals and two snacks per person, per night of your stay, plus a refillable mug. It also includes unlimited use of recreational facilities like golf courses and fishing excursions, as well as tours.

The platinum plan includes the same dining options as above, as well as unlimited use of facilities like mini golf, watersports, horseback riding, etc. Also included are special experiences like a fireworks cruise, reserved seating for Fantasmic!, a PhotoPass CD, and much more. This is an ultra-posh way to vacation!

    Hope that helps!
