Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachel. I'm so glad to hear you'll be making your first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in December.

Mid-December through the beginning of the New Year is a very busy time at the Disneyland Resort. It is also a beautiful, festive time as well. In the past, for safety reasons Disneyland Resort had to temporarily halt Guests' entry into the parks due to maximum capacity. I recommend arriving early to the parks so you'll be able to enjoy your time. If Disneyland Park is temporarily closed and you have a Park Hopper option, head over to Disney California Adventure Park and have fun there.

For special occasions, I love celebrating at the Napa Rose in the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa or the Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park. The Blue Bayou Restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction is also a neat place for birthday celebrations. Custom birthday cakes can be ordered and delivered to select table-service restaurants. Simply call (714) 781- DINE to order your cake up to 60 days in advance.

For extra Pixie Dust, be sure to pick up your children's complimentary birthday button at City Hall in Disneyland Park or Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to wear on their special day.

I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your family a magical trip in December. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
