Hello . First timers here. We have 6 days to explore Disney. is it best to buy fast passes before we arrive. How do we know what to book?

    Hi Shaz,

How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation! I am happy to help you think about making your Disney FastPass+ selections.

As you may know, with Disney FastPass+ service, you will be able to experience some attractions each day with shortened wait times. I have great news for you. You do not need to purchase Disney FastPass+ service! This service is included with your Walt Disney World theme park tickets.

I do recommend that you make your Disney FastPass+ selections before you leave home. In order to do so, be sure that your Walt Disney World theme park tickets are linked in your My Disney Experience account. Within this account, you can follow the instructions to select up to three attractions per day for a Disney FastPass+ experience. Once you are at the theme park and have used all three, you can make a fourth, and then a fifth after that, and so on and so forth based on availability for the remainder of the day.

As to what to select for Disney FastPass+ experiences, the choice is up to your traveling party and what you all will enjoy the most. I also recommend that you make Disney FastPass+ selections for popular attractions which tend to build longer queues. For my family this means attractions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom; and Soarin', Test Track and Frozen Ever After at Epcot. At Disney's Hollywood Studios you might consider Toy Story Mania and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. If you are wanting to experience the new attractions in Pandora at Disney's Animal Kingdom, which are Avatar Flight of Passage and Na'vi River Journey, those would be good choices.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Shaz!
