I will be a first timer going in May. I have a two year old whom I want to meet certain characters. Can he get a fast pass without an actual ticket to the park? Or do I need to get a fast pass in my name for him to meet the characters? How does that work?

Hi Brittany!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Your first Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it and I am so excited for you.

Children under the age of 3, that don't require theme park admission, do not need a FastPass+ selection in their name to enter the FastPass+ line.  However, any and all adults who will be accompanying your child in the FastPass+ line will need to have one.  If you wish to wait in the standby queue, no FastPass+ selection is necessary.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
