First timer. Are there any convenience stores in the parks or at the hotels? I''m staying at the Popcentury.

There are no convenience stores in the theme parks.

All the resort hotels have areas where you can purchase basic items like snacks, beverages (including soda, juice, milk, beer, and wine), toiletries, and souvenirs.

A few of the hotels do have what might be described as small convenience stores on site. These are the hotels that house Disney Vacation Club villas: Old Key West, Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the Boardwalk. The villas are like mini-apartments with real kitchens, so many people stay there so that they can cook their meals during their vacations. The stores at these hotels do provide the rudiments of cooking: eggs, cheese, pasta and sauce, cereal, sandwich breads and meats, etc. The selection is not large and the prices are not cheap, but it is certainly convenient. Guests of any of the Disney hotels could shop at these stores.

    Hope this helps.
