First time WDW vacation with our daughter who is 6. She is a sensitive child and easily overstimulated. She does not like roller coasters or scary things. Planning two days in Magic Kingdom & two in Animal Kingdom. Suggestions on what to see &

    Hi Diana,

I think you and your daughter will easily find a number of rides and attractions that both interest and delight her.  Not everyone in my clan is a scary ride fan.  While you know your daughter best, some suggestions for mild attractions at the Magic Kingdom include:
    • It's a Small World
    • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    • The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
    • Dumbo
    • The Jungle Cruise
    • Peter Pan
    • Tomorrowland Transit Authority
    • Walt Disney World Railroad
    • Tom Sawyer Island

At the Animal Kingdom, some mild attractions include:

    • Kilimanjaro Safaris (although, it's a bit bumpy)
    • Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
    • Tricera Top Spin
    • Finding Nemo - The Musical

One of my favorite tips to all visitors is to take time to explore spontaneous, "non-Space Mountain Moments", something Disney makes very easy to do.  I would allow yourself to see where your daughter's fancy leads you.  Some of our favorite moments like these include letting our kids jump rope on Main Street, watch Cast Members blow bubbles outside of Small World or even sit on a bench and get "gross" eating a Mickey ice cream bar.  Whatever attractions you pick, I hope your daughter has a vacation that is as magical as she is!
