This is my first time visiting Disney World (Orlando)! My husband & I will attend MVMCP on Dec 17. I want to go on the rides in Magic Kingdom. Will I need to purchase a ticket for Magic Kingdom $ MVMCP? Our hotel is Comfort Suites Maingate.

    Hi Catherine,

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a wonderful way to ring in the holidays, "Disney-style."  Your ticket to this special event will give you admission to the park at 7pm on December 17th.  The party includes a special holiday parade, magical snow falling on Main Street, a presentation of Holiday Wishes (the fireworks spectacular) and many other wonderful holiday happenings.  During the party, most of the most popular attractions (rides) are also available for you to enjoy to your heart's content!  You won't need a separate ticket to ride.

If you are interested in entering the theme park before 7pm, however to enjoy the Magic Kingdom, then you would, in fact, need a theme park ticket.

    I hope this helps!
