    Hi M,

Hooray for first visits! I love when guests get to see Walt Disney World for the first time.

Depending on which is important-fireworks or pool-will help you decide which park to stay in.

Lets start with fireworks because I love fireworks. To see the fireworks at the Magic Kindom from your room, you can stay at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary or Bay Lake Towers. I asked the pool expert, my 12 year old, which has the best pool slide of these resorts. She said Grand Floridian if you need an open slide or Polynesian if a covered slide is okay. The advantage to any of these resorts is that they are on the monorail which allows you easy travel between both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

If you really want the pool, then the Yacht and Beach Club is your resort. Stormalong Bay is just the coolest pool with a lazy river and a cool poolside in the shape of a pirate's boat. You also can stroll along the Boardwalk which is just across the way where the evenings which comes alive with performance artists and old fashioned midway games. Plus you can walk or take a boat to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. You may be able to see some fireworks from EPCOT but this fireworks show really takes place in the park.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
