This is the first time we will be travel to WDW with a child under 2. When I make our Disney dining reservations should I be saying that there are 4 or 5 guests? 5 would include the child under 2. Thanks!

    Hi Mary!

Congratulations on your first trip to Walt Disney World with your two-year old! Make sure to get your two-year old a complimentary "My First Trip" button when you arrive.

When you make your Advanced Dining Reservation, you will want to include your two-year old in the total number of guests, so you will want to say you have five guests total. The reason why is because Disney needs to understand the total number of guests for the size of the table and based on restaurant occupancy. You can request a high chair or booster seat when you arrive for your little one.

Also, note that the all-you-care-to-eat buffets do not require you to purchase a meal for a two-year old. You can get your child a plate of food off the buffet at no charge. Some of my favorite restaurants are Chef Mickey's, which is great for meeting Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. 'Ohana is another wonderful restaurant, and for breakfast you can meet Lilo and Stitch.

    Magically,
    Stacy
