    Lesley from VA Asked

First time staying at Bay Lake Towers, how late are the pools there and the Contemporary typically open? Thanks enjoy reading everyday!

    Howdy Lesley!

As my pal Mickey might say, Ooooh Boy! I love chatting about the fantastic pools available at the Disney Vacation Club Resorts! I think you will love the access-restricted Bay Cove Pool. The climb to the top of the "Mickey slide," as my daughters call it, offers a beautiful view of Bay Lake, making it a true gem.

Pool hours vary seasonally. During the warmer months, I generally expect the pools to be guarded and accessible until 11 P.M. Over the winter, I have seen them close as early as 10 P.M. Check the Recreation Calendar, slipped in your Check-In folder, for the exact hours during your stay.

Be sure to remember your MagicBand when you head down for a dip. The Bay Cove Pool is accessible only through a locked Gate, and only for Members and their Guests staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The Main Pool and Bay Lake Pool are not fenced and are shared with Disney's Contemporary Resort Guests. Though this area is bigger, expect it to become slightly more crowded during peak times.

Come back and visit us with any other questions, Lesley! We hope to "See ya real soon!"

    Wishing you many magical memories,
