First time planning a Disney trip with off-site accommodations. How do I order park tickets? Will they ship to Canada so I can make FP+ 30 days out? Will they be cards or bands?

    Hi Julia,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. I’ve ordered tickets for myself and for people who were visiting Walt Disney World Resort with us several times, and the process couldn’t be simpler, even for Canadians!

You don’t need to receive a physical card in order to make your party’s FastPass+ selections for your upcoming visit. All you need to do is purchase your Theme Park Tickets online, and then link a ticket to the My Disney Experience account associated with each member of your party. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to start making FastPass+ selections up to 30 days prior to each day that you plan to visit a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park. You’ll be able to make FastPass+ selections for the number of days that you purchased. If you purchase a 5-day Ticket, you’ll be able to make 5 days worth of FastPass+ selections, 6 with a 6-day Ticket, and so on.

You'll also need to have your tickets (cards) shipped to you or you can pick them up at “Will Call”, which is located at the Guest Relations window outside any one of the Theme Parks or at Disney Springs. Because you aren’t staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for this visit, you won’t receive MagicBands (which couldn’t be shipped to Canada, in any event), but you can use any MagicBands that you received on previous visits (your tickets will be linked to them automatically) or you can use the cards that you received in the mail or at Guest Relations.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Lynne
