    Carolina from WA Asked

Hello! We are going for the first time the last week of May and will be staying in the All Star Music resort. I have a few questions: 1. Are there shuttles to Disney Springs? 2. Can you link Disney Gift cards to your magic band to pay for food? Thanks!!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carolina! I have such fond memories of Disney's All-Star Music Resort, because it's where my family and I used to stay when we visited Walt Disney World Resort when I was a kid. I've definitely spent many happy hours splashing away with the Three Caballeros in the Calypso Pool!

One of the great things you're going to experience on your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation is how easy it is to get around while you're there. With complimentary bus, water, and monorail transportation, there's are lots of quick and convenient ways to get where you're going. If you're going to Disney Springs from your Resort Hotel, you'll be able to catch a bus from the bus stop in front of Melody Hall that will take you right there. The bus to Disney Springs begins running about 45 minutes before it opens, and will continue taking guests there until 1:00 a.m. You can catch a return bus to your Resort Hotel from Disney Springs all day, up until 2:00 a.m.!

Another thing that's going to help you make the most out of your precious time when you're on vacation is your MagicBand. It acts as your Resort Hotel room key, you can tap it to access your theme park tickets and redeem your FastPass+, and you can use it to charge your purchases to your room as well! At this time, you cannot link a gift card directly to your MagicBand, but you can use the gift card to pay the balance of your charges, and you only need to visit the Front Desk of your Resort Hotel to do so.

    Have a magical day, Carolina!
