This is the first time flying into Orlando rather then driving(so excited) using magical express. Our flight departing doesn't leave till 5:50p. I saw they pick up abt 3 hrs prior. If c/out is @ 11am can we check luggage in early & still enjoy resort/p

Hello Christina!  I love seeing a fellow North Carolinian here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Being not too far away from Florida, we typically make the 8.5 hour drive to Walt Disney World as well. But once in a while we do fly and it is so much fun!  I think you will thoroughly enjoy using the Magical Express service.  It is super convenient.  As much as you don't want to leave on your last day, Disney doesn't want you to go either!  You will be able to take your luggage to Bell Services, free of charge, at anytime the day you check out.  You are absolutely welcome to use all of the amenities the resort has to offer before you leave.  I actually like to call down to the front desk the night before and explain to them we have a later flight and ask if we could do a late check out.  Sometimes, they will have enough availability where you don't have to be out of your room until 1:00 p.m.  Then my family and I can spend a relaxing morning swimming and hanging out by the pool before we shower and get ready for the rest of the day.

I hope this helps!  If you have any other questions, please do come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
