    Sarah from NM Asked

Hello! Its our first time EVER traveling to Walt Disney World. We're taking a 7 yr old and 4 yr old. Any tips or tricks you'd like to share?

    Greetings Sarah!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I cannot wait for you to experience a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your family. Prepare yourself to be truly immersed in literally a whole new world. My number one tip to really feel connected to the magic is to always book a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. From complimentary transportation to and from the airport and the parks to fantastic pools and dining, there are so many reasons why these very special hotels will enhance your vacation. Being able to make FastPass+ selections 60 days before you arrive is also another amazing benefit. With Toy Story Land opening this summer in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will definitely want to take advantage of this to ensure shorter wait times on these as well as other attractions. Some of the most popular attractions where FastPass+ is really beneficial are those located in Pandora - The World of Avatar in Disney's Animal Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan's Flight in Magic Kingdom Park, and Frozen Ever After in Epcot.

One of my favorite planning tools is the My Disney Experience app. I not only utilize this on my vacations but also to familiarize myself with the Walt Disney World Resort before I leave. You can see park maps, attraction wait times, Character greeting locations, and also make dining reservations. I love that you can also view height requirements for attractions right on the app to know what your children will be able to experience when you arrive.

I hope this was helpful, and I'd love to assist you with more details of your trip as it approaches. Have a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
