This will be our first time to Epcot. We have a reservation at Garden Grilll at 8:10 (no early reservation at Akershus available for now). Would it be feasible for us to have breakfast at GG and then head out to Norway for FEA or not?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nathalie! I’m glad you’re hEAR! I think you will adore Epcot, with Walt’s original vision for the park alive and well in inspiration and aesthetic.

Breakfast at Garden Grill will be a wonderful start to your morning, with plenty of characters and delicious food grown in the LAND pavilion right below you. Talk about fresh! Depending on the time of park opening, you will be able to pass through security and touchpoints by seeing a Cast Member at the gates and mentioning your breakfast reservation. You’ll want to arrive about 15-20 minutes before your reservation so you can journey through Future World and into the LAND for your meal. After your meal, you’ll be free to explore the park and take photos, but Frozen Ever After won’t be in operation until the park is officially open. If it happens to be 9am that day, you’ll be there in no time, but you may want to book a FastPass+ reservation for it, just in case your meal runs long or there is a giant line. The attraction is super popular (in my family as well!) and can draw lines up to 3 hours long. If you get there and the line is minimal (under 20 minutes), you can choose to reschedule your FastPass+ reservation for another attraction. The walk from The Land to Norway can be about 10 minutes, due to the walk around World Showcase Lagoon.

If I can help you with more pointers for your breakfast or the hidden gems around Epcot (Be sure to enter the Mexican Temple and ride Gran Fiesta Tour with Donald!), please ask me another question! ~ Lindsey P.
