It's our first time going to DW in April. We have children age 10 and 8. We have three days at the 'kingdoms'. Any recommendations on how best to use those three days?

    Hi Lisa,

Your first trip to Walt Disney World?  You must be so excited!  I'm positively giddy for you.

My son, who is currently twelve, has many favorite attractions at Walt Disney World.  I bet your children would enjoy them too.  Therefore, here's what I recommend for your three days at the most magical place on earth:

Spend your first day at the Magic Kingdom.  Enjoy the classic Disney attractions that everyone wants to experience.  Be sure to take your kids on this park's thrill rides:  Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain.  Schedule a character dining experience at Chef Mickey's by calling (407) WDW-DINE right away, if possible.  This restaurant is just a short monorail ride away at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Have a magical second day at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Ride Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest first.  Don't miss the incredible shows (Festival of the Lion King, Flights of Wonder, and Finding Nemo - The Musical) in this park.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is my son's current favorite park.  He just loves the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, the Rock 'N Roller Coaster with Aerosmith, the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Star Tours.  When you enter the park, be sure to go to Toy Story Mania first to avoid long lines later in the day.

Have an amazing time in April, Lisa!  Sending pixie dust your way for a magical Disney adventure.
