First time at Disneyland and California adventure park. What are the best use of fast passes for each park?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Valerie. I'm excited for your first trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Based on your indicated arrival date in early June, expect the crowd levels to be high. Using the Disney FastPass service can save your place in line while your family enjoys the rest of the parks. FastPass service is available for select attractions at both Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park.

To help save you time and avoid running around the park to figure out FastPass distribution times for each attraction, I recommend downloading the Disneyland mobile app. You'll be able to find attraction standby wait times, as well as see the FastPass distribution times. These are helpful in planning your day.

    Mom's Tips
    • Don't miss Radiator Springs Racers while you're at Disney California Adventure. This popular ride is so fun and well-loved! On busy days, FastPasses for this attraction can run out before noon. Be sure to pick up your Radiator Springs Racers FastPasses as soon as you get to the park.

    •  If your children are older than 7 years old, your family can take advantage of single rider lines on select attractions. This option greatly reduces standby wait times. Now that my children are older, we enjoy taking advantage of single rider lines!

I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your family a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth, Valerie. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
