This is our first time to Disney world. My husband wants to make sure we wait in the least lines possible. Is there another option than the pick 3? Such as a fast pass for all rides for extra money? Thanks.

    Dear Shelby,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about planning your magical vacation!

I totally understand about wanting to wait in as few lines as possible on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! My family also does not like to wait in lines, so we use a few strategies to minimize our time waiting. First, the most important strategy is to arrive early to the parks! If you arrive before opening and "rope drop" a park, you will find that you can typically ride two or three rides without using a FastPass+ selection, before the crowds start to rise. Second, make your initial FastPass+ selections for the middle range of the day, perhaps from 11am to 2pm, or in that range. That will give you a lot of options for the middle of the day when crowds are high. Also, did you know that once you use your initial three FastPass+ selections, that you can choose additional FastPass+ choices one at a time for the rest of the day? Between uses of FastPass+ selections, have a snack or meal, or visit one of the many attractions that doesn't have a long wait time! The My Disney Experience app will help you to determine which attractions are currently experiencing shorter waits!

Another option, since you mentioned that you wouldn't mind upgrading, is to consider a VIP Tour. Walt Disney World Resort offers several options for maximizing your time at the parks by paying for a VIP tour. That might be something to consider.

Hope that helps with your magical planning! Have fun!
