First time to Disney world & I have booked our Fast Passes. I am not sure if I have selected the best times for those attractions. If we arrive to an attraction with a short line, can I cancel our FP & can I do it after our reservation window has s

    Hi Alison,

Yes - you absolutely can change your FastPass+ selections.

I ran into the exact situation you described a few weeks ago. My daughters and I had a FP+ reservation for Space Mountain at about 10:45am. When we got to the ride, the standby wait time was only 15 minutes. We decided that it would be silly to "waste" one of our FP+ selections on such a relatively short wait. We got into the standby line and while there I opened up the MyDisneyExperience app on my phone. In just a few clicks I was able to change the 10:45am Space Mountain to a 2:00pm Peter Pan. This took less an a minute.

And yes, as long as you haven't used all your FP+ entitlements, you can even make changes after one of your return times has passed.

In my mind, this flexibility is one of the key benefits of the new FP+ experience. I love it!

Good luck with your planning. Please let know what else we can do to help.
