Hi this is our first time at disney and was just wondering if I should ship down some supplies or buy down there we are flying and not renting a car also we are going the week of the may 13th is that a good time to go thanks again

    Hi Heather!
Congratulations on booking your first trip!! It is going to be amazing!
Mid-May is a very nice time of year to visit. The Spring Break crowds have left and most of the country is still in school, so crowds are reasonable and the weather is very warm and comfortable.
As far as shipping items down, you don't mention what items specifically you may be thinking of, or if you are taking a cab/car service or Magical Express. Most cabs/car services build a 30 minute stop at the grocery store into the fares, so that is one option. However, if you are taking Magical Express, the buses do not stop at any stores. Even if you don't stop, most resorts stock many items that you may need in a pinch, but they charge a bit of a premium on most items.
If you were hoping to save some money and ship things down like water, crackers, granola bars, etc., that is possible. I recommend calling your resort where you will be staying and speak with Bell Services. They will help guide the process for you.
I hope this helps and I wish you all a Magical first trip!! :)
