First time Disney planning, and Im curious what the best way to schedule or make reservations is when you have to figure in travel time within a park, or hopping to another park or resort?

    Hi Kaley!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to hear that you are planning on enjoying many of the incredible dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort during your trip! I think the best way to plan your travel routes and timing when you are working on your itinerary is the My Disney Experience Mobile App. The app includes a "Get Directions" feature that will allow you to get all of the transportation options you have between destinations on your itinerary and the time required for each option. Simply search for the dining location, theme park or other point of interest and select the "Get Directions" option. Then you can enter your starting location and the app will provide you with the different transportation options available.

This is the perfect tool to help you plan how long it will take to travel between your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and the theme parks, Disney Springs and other Walt Disney World Resort hotels you will be visiting during your trip. You can use the suggested travel times to help you determine optimal times you would like to plan your dining reservations and to help you determine optimum FastPass+ reservation times around your reservations. Since my family includes two little Mouseketeers I like to allow us a little extra time to account for their little legs and even some pit stops along the way!

Once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, you can use the My Disney Experience Mobile App and the complimentary Wi-Fi to get turn-by-turn navigation as you are traveling around Walt Disney World Resort! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
