Hi! This is our first time on a disney cruise and we are going this July/ 5 night Bahama cruise/on the Dream. Does anyone know the dining roatation? Is there any suggestions as to what night to try and book Palo? Any idea what night is pirate show? Thanks!

    Hi Erin!

Can I tell you how thrilled and excited I am for you?!?!?  I LOVE Disney cruises!  My fourth one is coming up shortly (happy dance).

Keep in mind that schedules are subject to change.  You will receive A Daily Navigator every evening in your stateroom.  This will list EVERYTHING that will be happening on the ship the following day.   I always carry this with me.  When you arrive at your stateroom you will find this and an envelope with tickets that will tell you your dining schedule.  It is rotational dining, and your servers follow you from restaurant to restaurant each evening.  Disney Cruise Line has not yet announced the schedule for rotational dining during your July cruise.

This is what your schedule for the 5 night cruise on The Dream should be like:

1st evening: Cruise Casual Attire (sometimes your luggage doesn't get to your stateroom until the evening, or you don't get back to your stateroom because you're exploring...it's okay to wear what you wore onto the boat for dinner.

2nd evening: This is the night known as formal night.  There will be photographers set up and ready to take formal portraits.

3rd evening: Aarrrr....dress up in your finest pirate gear!  If you don't have any, don't worry!  There's some great stuff to buy on board at the gift shops!

4th and 5th evening: Cruise Casual clothing is appropriate.

Palo is my absolute favorite!!!!  It's very popular and fills quickly.  Personally, I would reserve it for a night when you've been at sea all day, or on a night when you are repeating a restaurant in the rotational dining.  I hate saying this, but if it comes down to it, take whatever you can get!

I promise that this will not be your last Disney cruise.  Enjoy your time on that beautiful, appropriately named ship!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
