First time Adventurers! We have a 2 yr old and a 1 yr old and are looking at showing them the best experience we can! My husband and I are 1st timers as well so we are a little lost on where to start. Best food/dining as well as rides/play areas for us?

    Hi Dallas,

A first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting; there's so much to see and do, and I can understand your feeling of being a little lost when it comes to planning. One thing that I always advise when it comes to first trips is to pick a few "must do's" and then let the rest of the magic just fall into place.

Little ones are able to experience Attractions that are listed for Guests of any height. For a complete listing of Attractions available for your children to enjoy, please visit the Disney Parks Blog. If there are Attractions that you and your husband would like to experience without your little ones you can use Rider Switch. Rider Switch allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with children or Guests unable to ride an Attraction. Here are my recommendations at each Theme Park:

    Magic Kingdom Park:
    it's a small world
    Dumbo the Flying Elephant

    Disney's Hollywood Studios:
    Toy Story Midway Mania!
Disney Junior - Live on Stage!

    Epcot:
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
    Turtle Talk With Crush

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
    Kilimanjaro Safaris
    The Boneyard
    TriceraTop Spin

Disney FastPass+ Reservations are available for all of the Attractions above.

As far as dining goes I suggest making Advanced Reservations for a few Character Dining Experiences. Some of my favorites are The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park, Garden Grill in Epcot, and Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort.

I hope these suggestions help you to make the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
