Hi, my first part of the question is if you guys recommend the laser show at Epcot? My children are 4 & 2, are they too young for this?

    Hi Andrea,

You are in for a treat! I absolutely do recommend the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth for your family. The spectacular display set to a beautiful symphonic score, along with 15,000 LEDs illuminating the Earth globe is an annual must-see for my family. As far as concerns for your young children, perhaps bringing along two sets of ear plugs will be helpful if they're prone to fireworks sensitivity.

I would also recommend viewing the show from the balcony of the Japan Pavilion, just above the Mitsukoshi Department Store. If the kids become too frightened by the loud booms, I'd just begin walking the World Showcase while the show continues. You can pop in and out of stores along the way, giving their Mickey ears a bit of a break in between fireworks. Unlike the theater-style seating of Fantasmic!, viewing IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth allows you to walk the perimeter of the World Showcase Lagoon. Honestly, Andrea, my children who WERE slightly frightened by the villains and fireworks during Fantasmic! at 2 & 4 had no trouble at all watching IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. I hope this helps, and please let us know how we can be of further assistance as you plan your MAGICAL vacation!
