Hi - This is our first Halloween visit (excited!). Is there a special viewing offer for the parade in the MK? Fastpass? Want to ensure I'm not missing anything. Thank you!

    Welcome back, Linda!

I'm so excited to hear you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for Halloween. It's one of my family's favorite times of the year to visit. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a ticketed event with a limited number of tickets available. Therefore, crowd levels are low, and the FastPass+ system is not used during the party. We have attended several of Mickey's famous fall parties and found that most attractions have little to no wait. You will find longer lines for characters, especially those who only appear during the party.

There are several places that we like to view Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Parade. Typically, the parade steps off in Frontierland, and we like to look for a spot near Country Bear Jamboree, so as soon as the parade passes we can head straight to Splash Mountain. If you plan to be near Liberty Square, the area right in front of the Hall of Presidents offers seating along the wall. Finding a spot along Main Street, U.S.A. is our favorite place. We usually arrive about 90 minutes early to secure our curbside seats.

The Disney Parks Blog just released some details about a new Happy HalloWishes Premium Dessert Package that will be offered during the 2015 parties. This package offers a special reserved viewing section for the parade followed by a spooktacular dessert party.  I am excited about the assortment of treats offered and to watch Happy HalloWishes Nighttime Spectacular from the Tomorrowland Terrace. You can make reservations online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Wishing you a magical Halloween visit!
