First family vacation to WDW (8 days); 2 adults, 6 kids (13, 10, 7, 5, 3, 7mo) staying at OKW villas. In the park logistics: Should I pack a double stroller, single stroller, rent stroller at the park, 1 or 2 cloth baby carrier or a combination of all?

    Cheryl,

For your 13, 10, 7 and 5 year olds, I say no strollers. My 7 and 5 year olds both went stroller free for the first time this last trip, and we had no complaining, no whining, and no problems.

For your 3 year old and 7 month old, I would recommend bringing a stroller, since renting means you are spending more money, and you only get to use them in the park. With your own stroller, at the end of a long day when you are heading to the buses to go back to your resort, you don't have to waken sleeping kids just to get them to the bus. Then can also have somewhere to sit when in line at the buses and other non-park locales, keeping them more energized and content. With your own, there is a bit more bliss!

I like using our side-by side stroller, and would recommend the same for you. That will take care of the 3 year old and 7 month old. If, however, you prefer to handle the 7 month old with some sort of cloth sling, then you could opt for the single stroller instead. Certainly you probably know better here, but anything that keeps your hands free is going to be a real plus!

    Have a magical vacation!
