Our first family trip to WDW is in June 2012. Our children will be 7 & 4. We have park hopper passes. There are certain places that we want to eat, some require reservations. How hardt to go from park to park, or is it better planning entire day at

Congratulations on planning your first family trip; the first trip is such a magical milestone!  As for your itinerary, my recommendation would be to do a little of each.  That is, plan a few days where your meals will take place in (or close to) one particular park and on the other days, go ahead and park hop.  While transportation between parks isn't exactly seamless, it's doable.  Considering the ages of your kiddos, it certainly wouldn't be a bad idea to get an early start in the parks each morning before taking a mid-afternoon break to rest and recharge.  When it's time to head back out for dinner and maybe evening entertainment, that would be the ideal time to "hop" to a different park.  Doing so is especially easy if you're staying at one of Disney's Epcot area resorts; when we have park hoppers, my family likes to "hop" there for dinner after days spent at any of the other theme parks.  Enjoy!
