    Hi Katie,

I wouldn't worry about "normal." Every family's vacation is different and special to them. My two-houses-down neighbor went on their first WDW trip a few years ago. They had such a great time at the Magic Kingdom, that they went back every day of their five day trip and never made it to another park. Their trip was spectacular and perfect for them.

The Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game is a recent addition to the Magic Kingdom. It's a cross between a video game, a scavenger hunt, and a card trading game. Stop by the Firehouse when you enter the park and they'll tell you all the details.

As for lesser known activities, in addition to the rides, character greetings, parades, and shows, here are some things you'll want to look out for:

    - Find Cinderella's horse on the carousel. It's the one with the gold bow on its tail.
    - Make a wish in the wishing well in the rose garden in front of the castle.
    - See if they're offering free fudge tastings in the Main Street Confectionery
    - Take a Family Magic Tour
    - Try to spot all the different kinds of brick work or trinkets in the ground throughout the park (gems near the Alladin ride, peanuts near Dumbo
    - Collect pressed pennies
    - Hunt for Hidden Mickeys
    - Spot Tinker Bell during the fireworks show

There are so many little details in the parks. I recommend the book The Complete Walt Disney World by Julie Neal for lots of great behind the scenes stories to make it all come alive.

We're happy to give more details about any of this. Just let us know what you need.
