    Autumn from KY Asked

First Family Disney trip is in the books for October 2015. our dates are Oct 3-Oct 8 2015. We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. Is it usually busy during this time? Its fall break for our oldest so we didn't have a flexible schedule...

    Hey there Autumn!

How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation! You are going to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Historically, the crowd levels are lower in early October due to most schools being in session. I have personally visited the Walt Disney World Resort in early October and found the parks to be very manageable.

I would still recommend utilizing Disney FastPass+ service to decrease your wait time on any "can't miss" attractions. If you have not done so already, be sure to book Advanced Dining Reservations for Table-Service restaurants as soon as possible by calling Disney Dining at (407)WDW-DINE or (407)939-3463, by going online or via the My Disney Experience app.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. I would love to assist you further in the planning of a magical first trip, Autumn!

    Happy Planning,
