This will be my first Disney trip with my family since 2009. I want to make it special for my daughter since it will be her 4th birthday. Should I get a park hopper pass do you think it would be with it. we will be traveling with 5 or 6 adults and a child

    Hello again Carissa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You’ve asked an excellent question about whether or not the Park Hopper Theme Park Ticket Option is right for your family. The question of whether you’ll want to visit more than one of Walt Disney World Resort’s Theme Parks in a given day depends on your family’s touring style.

As an example: my family likes to visit the Parks the moment they open, experiencing all of the attractions and shows that we can possibly manage to see until about 1:00 p.m. Then, we tend to head back to our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for a dip in the pool and, ever since we started visiting with our 2 1/2 year old son, a nap for him (and for us!) until suppertime. We usually choose to visit another Theme Park at night than the one we visited that morning so, for us, a Park Hopper ticket makes sense. If we were the type to stay in the parks from morning to night or if we weren’t staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, then I probably wouldn’t bother with that ticket option.

Finally, for some great birthday ideas for your daughter, my friend Susan recently gave another Guest some GREAT tips for celebrating her daughter’s 5th birthday at Walt Disney World Resort

I hope my answer helps you plan your family's upcoming vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
