First Disney cruise and will be taking Disney transport back to the airport. What does disembarkation day look like for us? And how do we know when the bus will come for us? Does our luggage make its way to the airport on its own with luggage tags? Help!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Navjot!

OH MY DISNEY!  I am very excited for you to sail with Captain Mickey for the VERY FIRST TIME!  There is so much magic included when you sail the high seas with Disney Cruise Line.  Get ready for a seriously pixie dusted adventure!

The one part of a Disney cruise I hate to think about is debarkation day.  I am glad you are planning ahead, but it's so sad to think all of the fun has to come to an end!  Thankfully, Disney Cruise Line makes the debarkation process easy.

The night before you debark, pack up your bags and leave them outside of your stateroom with the luggage tags that your stateroom host will leave for you.  If you do this, you do not have to handle your luggage in the morning.  You will instead be able to pick up your bags in the cruise terminal before you go through customs.  Be sure to leave your clothes, shoes, toiletries and any medication that you need in the morning out with a small bag to carry off the ship so you don't have to wear your pajamas home!  If you are flying out of Orlando International Airport and on a participating airline, you may be able to utilize Disney Cruise Line's Airline Check-In service so you don't have to handle your luggage at all!

On the final morning of your cruise, you will be treated to breakfast in one of the rotational dining rooms or Cabanas.  Enjoy this final meal onboard before you head down to the ship's atrium to debark.  You can leave any time after the ship has received the "all clear" and jump on a motor coach to the airport.

Once you debark, you will gather your luggage and then proceed through customs.  Motor coaches depart as they fill, so if you have a morning flight, I would suggest an early breakfast so you can eat and board the motor coach in plenty of time to get to the airport.  Once through customs, follow the signs to Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation, hand your luggage over to the transportation team and hop on your motor coach to the airport!

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail, Navjot!
