Hi its our first Disney Cruise any suggestions tips or tricks Disney Wonder 4 nights. Thank you!

    Ahoy Marissa!

Oh goodie, how exciting that you will be setting sail on the Disney Wonder in a few weeks! A Baja cruise from San Diego with a stop in Cabo San Lucas sounds like pure perfection. Get ready to be wowed by all the magical touches on this magnificent ship.

It's perfect timing for your question since I literally just got off the Disney Wonder a few days ago! Most of my tips and tricks are not specific to any particular ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet but apply universally. But I will say one exclusive space on the Disney Wonder you must explore is the French Quarter Lounge. There's an actual cable car in the lounge! In the mornings, coffee and beignets are available for purchase, and in the evenings, adult beverages can be enjoyed listening to live music in this jazzy setting.

My other recommendation: go see Frozen, A Musical Spectacular. Hands down, my favorite character is Olaf, and he had us in stitches. In fact, Disney Cruise Line has created a resident Broadway guest artist program, and the actor portraying Olaf on our cruise was exceptional. There's even an informative Broadway Artist presentation where you can meet the performer and learn about their career and what it's like to perform on the ship.

Be sure to use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app because its features help you stay on top of all the happenings onboard. Being able to favorite an activity so the app would send me a reminder that it was coming up was worth its weight in gold!

To modify your dining rotation, head to the designated spot onboard (typically Azure lounge on the Disney Wonder) to request a change. This is especially true if you have booked a Palo reservation and want to be sure you experience all three restaurants. You won't want to miss Tiana's Place for the lively atmosphere, singing and dancing, and Mardi Gras feel. That had to be the most fun night we had in our rotational dining schedule.

Instead of a spa treatment, I like to purchase a length of cruise pass for the Rainforest room at Senses Spa and Salon. I call it my oasis of relaxation and a place I can go to chill for an hour and get centered. I prefer it over an individual spa treatment because I can use it more often and it ends up being more hours in total...although booking BOTH would be even better!

I think it's safe to say that no one likes it when a cruise comes to an end. To brighten your spirits, book a placeholder for a future cruise with a minimal deposit and you'll get a discount on that sailing. Here's a tip: it can even be done on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, so no waiting in line for you at the Onboard Sales Desk!

Wander back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have more questions. Have a WONDERful cruise!

    Happy Sailing!
