This is our very first Disney Cruise.....we are extremely excited about it. We are sailing in June for 4 nights to Bahamas!! I want to know what would be the planning on this exciting journey with my 2 boys they are 12 and 9 years old. Thank you so much!

Your trip is coming up soon, Olivia... how exciting!

You and your boys will be in for such a treat, spending 4 glorious days in the Bahamas onboard the Disney Dream. Your trip from California will be worth the trek - and I'm sure the excitement is already buzzing in your household.

I'm hoping that you've had a chance to complete the My OnLine CheckIn -- it helps to have this already completed since it makes your embarkation check-in process smooth and quick. You should also have a credit card kept on file for onboard charges, as well as personal travel details for each individual traveling. Check your travel documents now to make sure that your passports are still valid and unexpired.

When you check your daily cruise activities, you can also plan on any Port Adventures. Castaway Cay will have a few fun activities for your whole family, so make sure you reserve these now - since some activities do get sold out. Both of your sons can enjoy Oceaneer Club/Lab onboard. There is no additional cost involved, just get them registered and they can participate on all the activities there during your voyage. Would you consider dinner or brunch reservations at Palo? I would highly suggest this gastronomic experience, so please do check it out.

Do you have our outfits all picked out? Kids can wear nice khaki shorts and a collared shirt for dinner. Don't forget your swim wear and pirate gear! I'm out of space, but let me know of any other questions you've got, so that we can help you plan.
