on board dining

Going on our first cruise next December on The Wonder. We are not alcohol drinkers and wonder if we can go to the lounges/bars to see/hear the entertainment without ordering anything to drink--alcoholic or nonalcoholic.

Welcome aboard, Rodney! Hooray for your very fist cruise on the Disney Wonder. It's one of my favorite of Disney's ships, and part of the draw are the beautiful and fun venues in the After Hours District.

Any adult ages 18 and up is welcome in the After Hours District in the evening whether they are enjoying a drink or not. No need to order a thing when you head into Azure for the dancing or evening variety shows. A server will be around to ask if you're interested, but if not, no problem. You're there for the entertainment after all!

It's a lot of fun to hang out in Crown & Fin Pub to catch the big game on one of the screens or just relax with family and friends for board games. When I've sailed with a group of friends, we spent a few nights just enjoying each other's company and challenging each other to the board games that are there for guests to enjoy. Cozy up in one of the booths and have a great night! Drinks not required!

And then there's Cadillac Lounge, my husband's favorite spot. We love the feeling of the 1950's classic cars in this bar. Now, I do enjoy a fruity martini or two here, but if you're just interested in the piano music, pull up a chair and have a listen!

I hope you get to enjoy all sorts of exciting entertainment throughout the ship when you set sail later this year, Rodney! Please stop back and visit us again if you have any other questions about your first cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew. We're happy to help!
