First cruise ever, taking the Fantasy to the W. Caribbean. I'm unsure about booking Port Adventures. We tend to be night owls and not early risers. How early do excursions typically leave from the ship? Dragging kids out of bed too early = miserable day!

    Ahoy Victoria!
Congratulations on your first magical voyage onboard Disney Cruise Line!  You have so much to look forward to experiencing on the newest gem in the Disney fleet!  My crew are also night owls especially when we hit the high seas!  It is not uncommon for my kiddos to shut down the Oceaneer Club and Lab at midnight because they don't want to miss a minute of fun!
The good news is that not all Port Adventures are offered first thing in the morning, and some tours are offered at multiple times during the day.  So my advice is to make a list of adventures that look like a good match for your family and pay attention to the time frame.  If it is a shorter time, it may be an excursion that is offered later in the day or offered in the afternoon.  Once your booking window opens up (75 days prior to sailing), you will be able to log-in to your cruise reservation, click on "My Cruise Activities" and see the time choices.
If nothing ends up working out, there is really no need to worry because you will have the ship to enjoy as your destination.  Even when the ship is in port, you will find the daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator, full of fun activities and events for the entire family!
I hope my answer helps, Victoria!  Please let me know if you need further assistance with your planning!
    Have a fantabulous day!
