Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

Do the fireworks at the WDW parks go on as planned even if there is a special ticketed After Hours event scheduled that night ?

    Hi, Rebecca!

Disney After Hours is a special ticketed event that gives guests access to select attractions and experiences with little-to-no wait time. Disney After Hours is held on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Guests who have purchased Disney After Hours tickets may enter the park starting at 7:00 p.m. The event itself takes place during the three hours after the park closes.

Since Disney After Hours begins after the park's regular closing time, these special events should not interfere with the various fireworks and nighttime spectaculars that take place in the theme parks each night. Of course, show schedules are always subject to change, so be sure to consult a Times Guide at the park or check your My Disney Experience mobile app for the most up-to-date information.

If you're looking for a special way to experience the Happily Ever After Fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, I would highly recommend the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. Delicious treats and spectacular fireworks views make for a sweet end to a magical day.

    See ya real soon!
