Are Firefly goto seats allowed for disabled children to sit on bench rides?

Hi, Jocelyn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I just spoke with a lovely Cast Member with the Disability Services team, who was familiar with the Firefly GoTo Postural Support Seat. She did consult with Guest Services team to double-check and reports that at this time, these devices cannot be used while enjoying Walt Disney World Resort attractions, as guests are not able to provide and utilize any device that would need to be attached to the ride vehicle. However, your little one can experience all of the magical wonders of this Happy Place.

As soon as you visit your first theme park, stop by Guest Relations to request participation in the Disability Access Service. The Cast Members will go over with you the types of accommodations that can be made to enhance your visit. There are currently three main categories for mobility access:
    • Must transfer from wheelchair/ECV to ride vehicle
    • Must transfer from ECV to a wheelchair
    • Must transfer from ECV to a wheelchair, and from wheelchair to ride vehicle
Be sure to look over the Mobility Disability Services page for the most up-to-date listing of all attractions and the type of transfer they require. Also, feel free to contact the Disability Services team at (407) 560-2547 or email them at disability.services@disneyparks.com if you have any specific questions while preparing for your visit. Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if we can help you plan more of your pixie-dusted adventures!
