    Marcy from NJ Asked

I want to find out if there is trick or treating in Downtown Disney on Halloween night? If so what other activities are there for the kids?

Hi Marcy! Downtown Disney for years had offered families some Halloween night fun. Kids could don their costumes and enjoy trick or treating. They discontinued this the past year and we have not been given the current plans for Halloween on property.  This will usually be published about a month in advance as each individual area decides on their activities.

Fort Wilderness has offered trick or treating to resort guests in the past and possibly will do this again this year. Camping guests who wish to participate sign up ahead of time and are given a sign for trick or treating that they can put on their coach or camper. They also have other fun activities you can watch such as the golf cart parade and pet parade. Again the times and dates of these have not been given so please check back in about a month.

Downtown Disney almost always has some sort of entertainment happening on their large stage. Add to that the street characters that are scattered throughout offering fun and you can enjoy a full evening at this location. There is a small carrousel and train for the younger children to ride and of course tons of great stores to shop in.  The Lego store has  an area outside where kids can play and build to their hearts desire while parents rest. You can also find Disney Quest in this location which is a multi story building full of interactive games.  We love the AMC theater for a dinner and a movie and this fall you will find Splitsville which is a new bowling facility. There is plenty to do for all ages!
